Historic Downtown Lincoln
Downtown is the heart of the city. This is where Lincoln’s
roots were first planted and the foundations for the
future were laid. Downtown is where neighbors meet and
go to celebrate, as well as conduct day-to-day business
affairs.
The center of activity is Beermann Plaza—the
Town Square and home to summer farmers’ markets,
the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, concerts
in the plaza and a variety of other annual activities.
It’s a great place to meet friends, old and new,
and pass the time of day. In Downtown Lincoln, there
are no strangers, just friendly people with welcoming
smiles.

Chamber of Commerce
Lincoln’s strong business community comes together
through the Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce. With over
400 members, the chamber is actively involved in every
aspect of the community.

and contributes to the small town atmosphere so cherished
by residents. Whether it’s helping out in the
schools, City Hall, or with one of the city’s
many festivals, the Volunteer Center will match your
skills and interests to the organization or program
in need.
